More Than 20 Good Reasons to Reserve
March 11–13, 2018
Want a few
reasons to attend the Lutheran School Administrators Conference (LSAC) in
Orlando next spring?
A few aren’t enough.
Your Alliance planning team already has more than 20. In addition to keynotes
(one by Chick-fil A, Inc. exec Mark Miller!), fellowship, and worship, you’ll
have 22 sectionals covering a range of topics appropriate for early childhood
programs, elementary schools, and high schools.
A sneak peek at some of these? Financial management, legal issues, School
Choice, resilient staff, development, strategic planning, teacher evaluation,
church-school relationships, and more!
Complete details and registration will be available in September.
Administrators Conference Update August 15, 2017
Planning continues through the alliance of LCMS
School Ministry, LEA, and ALSS for the 2018 Lutheran School Administrators
Conference, March 11–13 at Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando at Lake Buena Vista
South, Kissimmee, Fla.
In addition to conference traditions such as keynotes, sectionals, worship, and
fellowship, participants will experience innovate growth opportunities in an
Edcamp and an Interactive Learning Playground.
The Edcamp model of professional development includes sessions set by the
participants at the beginning of the event, and participants are encouraged to
have discussions and hands-on sessions, instead of one person “presenting” to
the room. You will learn how to use this model in your own schools and
ministries while also participating in a live Edcamp for the last session of
the conference! (Learn more at www.edcamp.org)
The Interactive Learning Playground is a casual learning space that drives interaction
between attendees by showcasing best practices, innovations in education, new
technologies, and hands-on content showcased by relevant vendors and service
Reserve the dates now: March 11–13, 2018—and plan to spend some extra time for
golf and other recreational and fellowship activities pre- and post-conference.
